The tale of the young mouse, Martin the Warrior, who was captured by sea rats, enslaved, rescued
and helped defeat the terrible oppressors. This was the mouse who would go on to found Redwall
Abbey.
Notes :
This is the earliest in chronological order of the Redwall books, apart from "The Legend of
Luke", of which the story of Luke happened earlier or concurrently.
There are several workarounds used concerning previous continuity about Martin's past.
